Just curious. I have dabbled just a bit in SEO stuff recently, but still cant tell whether having a good Alexa Ranking effects your pagerank or anything like that.

Anyone have a clue?

My site hit 55,000 today in the ranking, which I guess is pretty good, but I was just curious if it would actually make a difference.

Alexa rankings don't directly affect your pagerank, but they could affect the money you can potentially make off your website.

I know everyone wants to make money, but think about customer loyalty.

I know... Ive started weeding them out, and the next phase will have them totally removed from the templates...

I find that it takes people away from the site more than I would like, and I would rather keep them there once they get there.

The ideal thing would be to NOT use adsense in between content.

I don't mind using it on the sidebars/columns.

I didn't go to your site but typically if I see too many ads or any popups at all I'm outta there before the page finishes loading.

You need to better distinguish what on your site is ad and what is content.

Because in looking at your front page alone, there seems to be more of the former than the latter.
