I'd find it hard to believe that both western media sources and an arab media source based out of Qatar would both repeatedly state that Hizbollah is backed and closely associated with Iran, along with being monetarily, logistically, and militarily supported by Syria and Iran unless said statement was factual.

Usually if we are lying about something, Aljazeera will take the other side on the issue. (EX: Iraq WMDs back in the day.)
