Alright Mac users (If you're only posting to trash Macs, stay out of my thread),
I'm having some trouble getting my G4 iBook to recognize USB devices (iPod, USB drive, flash drive, wireless mouse) although the drive powers on and the iPod charges. Sometimes this is fixed by a reboot... but not always.
Any suggestions? 8/14/2006 8:10:16 PM |

I'm sorry, perhaps you misunderstood my first post. Allow me to clarify.
I don't give a fuck whether you like to give head to Bill Gates or Steve-Fucking-Jobs; if you don't want to be helpful, stay the fuck out of my threads.
I use a Mac, I happen to like the OS. I don't give a flying fuck if you like it or not. There are more than enough threads available to debate Mac vs. PC. Go shit somewhere else.
As usual, I assumed the "wealth of knowledge" that TWWers bring to the table would make me proud to be a member of the same species. I have not been let down thus far. Anyone want to try for two? 8/14/2006 10:29:46 PM |

Do the USB devices show up in System Profiler?
If not, then try a PMU reset. 8/15/2006 2:36:07 AM |

No, they don't show up at all.
PMU reset is what I was thinking, but I was too lazy to look up the keystroke before I went to bed last night. 8/15/2006 8:52:35 AM |
