When I was a student (years ago) I practically had to pay people to go downtown with me. I guess they were scared?? Wasn't sure if the same sentiment abounded amongst the current NCSU demographic.
Plus I thought it was funny. 8/17/2006 2:50:48 PM |

I've seen Laid Out Level before and they're pretty good.
Plus they seem to have many cute girls as fans. That's always a bonus. 8/17/2006 3:08:38 PM |

i'm certainly not going to defend glenwood south. i just said that because it seems as if a lot of ncsu students spend a lot of time there, and king's isn't that far away...thus, it would be stupid for people to be scared to go to king's. 8/17/2006 3:37:23 PM |

so is this an ongoing WKNC local music series? if so, how might one inquire about playing for/suggesting bands to play for one of these shows? 8/17/2006 3:38:44 PM |

Yes, they do it once a month. I think October is already booked -- don't know about Sept.
Contact DJ Stevo (Local Music Director) at WKNC -- his contact info should be on the WKNC website.
