Barry Bonds will never test positive for steroids. The day will come when you realize that 90% of professional athletes are taking performance enhancing drugs. When they finally develop a test for human growth hormone, which should be on the way in the next 5 years, people are going to start questioning everything they thought they knew about sports. 8/19/2006 7:34:39 PM |

or perhaps people won't care anymore.
when the day comes that 100% of professional athletes are taking drugs, then I will be a happy camper. 8/20/2006 12:06:54 PM |

I need to find me some performance enhancing drugs. The spammers in my email never follow through when I reply to them. 8/20/2006 2:36:42 PM |

Do people actually know about the different kinds of doping?
Blood, steroid, etc?
No. They don't. Most people, however, do know that such cheating is occuring at ALL levels of athletic competition.
Who cares. I hate to tell you this but no matter how much you inject into yourself you're never gonna be an olympic runner, hall of fame baseball player, etc.
Steroids have been in wide use since the 1950's. Hell, they were even legal in the recent past in this country. If people are gonna insist on putting astericks on everything they should do it on their own name where "* = idiot". 8/21/2006 12:55:19 AM |

of course its not going to turn us into olympic runners or hall of fame baseball players....but for those athletes that are on the boarder of greatness, steroids can push them to the next level.
...or it can keep them competing at a higher level for longer.

Before long, they won't announce official winners until like a week after the competition is over because they will have to test everyone for everything. 8/21/2006 10:58:59 AM |
