anyone else been having trouble sending messages lately using google talk through trillian's jabber plugin?
are there any other nice all-in-one clients that could replace trillian? it becomes kind of ridiculous running the individual apps for all these connections. 8/19/2006 10:40:20 PM |

the only reason to use google talk is for the voice chat
trillian doesn't support that, so why are you using trillian 8/20/2006 4:18:55 PM |

I hardly talk to anyone anymore.
The people that I need to talk to are on gtalk.
No convincing was necessary. 8/20/2006 9:23:10 PM |

^ same
and basically, all i did was show them gtalk, and then show them the voice chat, and they started using it regularly. 8/20/2006 9:43:02 PM |

i use the gtalk, and have been happy...
BUT.
The "new and improved" version is a crazy mem hog. Can't get it to go under 36MB mem usage. Other version was easily under 10MB from my recollection.
ARGH. 8/20/2006 11:19:22 PM |
