Does anyone know how these two classes are. I am trying to decide which one I am going to keep.

I'm in both, I have not heard too much about the 495M. However, I talked with several guys that took 408 before and they all said its a lot of work. Its not one you can just put on the back burner and expect to do good.

well you are kinda sol with the fact that there arent that many major electives to choose from
