I never had much trouble understanding my professors. And I had Dr. Lu for MA242, which was supposedly one of the hardest to understand.

My sophomore and junior years have been pretty lucky with getting English teachers. During freshman year I had ESL insturctors in classes where I could just depend on the book to learn.

That being said, keep the ESL instructors in the low level, easy courses.

Had Zeng for 301 last semester, and agree completely. Big hint for his test, all of the questions are directly from the homework, either the exact question or the exact question with different numbers. And get ready for a lot of Homework.
