I know this is sort of random, but if anyone has the chance to take Despain for a spanish class, DO IT. Yes, it is still early in the semester, but I have been soooo happy with him in FLS 309, a phonetics class. I was dreading it, because it's an 8am class MWF, but he is seriously entertaining. Just a general recommendation for people. I already feel like I've learned a lot from two days of class, along with not getting sleepy in class at all. (That in itself is an accomplishment for me!)

Anyway, just saying that he's an awesome teacher and he keeps class stimulating.
