Wasn't sure what the best thread was for putting this in, so if any mod wants to move or lock goforit.
I'm looking for an iPod accessory for the gen5(video) that would allow for safe use while running. I'm assuming someone here has to have some sort of advice or information.
This includes headphones, case, protector, etc.
Any info is appreciated. I have 2 weeks to get a present for my gf, and this is my last ditch effort. She's probably going to infer she's fat from this. So, I might have to put this up in the classifieds soon thereafter . 8/28/2006 6:21:19 PM |

The best running accessory for a video ipod is a flash based mp3 player. Seriously, run with something that doesn't have moving parts. 8/28/2006 6:23:48 PM |

E2g's are closer to being reasonably priced, espescially for high abuse activities. 8/28/2006 10:29:45 PM |

Just get a cell phone wiht an integrated mp3 player and you are good. Then you dont have to carry both shits running.
I dont run, but if I did I would take my cell phone and listen to music on it. 8/28/2006 10:35:22 PM |

^ Have you already bought the iPod video? If so, that's a great gift in itself.
If not, get an iPod nano with one of the many available 1st/3rd party accessories that allow it to be used for running.
I know the nano is expensive. In that case, look at /message_topic.aspx?topic=429133 for recommendations for other flash based mp3 players (or just type mp3 into the search field to find threads about mp3 players).
