I am selling a set of Logitech Z-680 THX Certified Computer speakers that are in flawless Shape, the system will outperform any computer speaker set up on the market that I am aware of, you can do the research if you wish I have included a basic over view link that gives you a lil more information on the specs.

^^Klipsch vs Logitech, already know the answer. Klipsch will be the victor on the playground.

its really personal preference. if you really need digital audio and you take into account that you have to buy a seperate digital decoder for the Klipsch then you may prefer the Z-680's. As far as sound quality goes the Klipsch has a slight advantage in most cases though come critics argue it could be a bit brighter but you've got to be pretty darn picky to find much difference in these sets. Of course the Klipsch sub would probably over power the Logitch system's.

I've had both systems in the same room before and I noticed the difference and preferred the Klipsch sound over the Logitech. I went with Logitech only because Klipsch system kept breaking on me. I went through 4 of them before I finally decided to go with the Logitech which I recently sold for $100 because I just don't like them enough. Right now I'm sticking with headphones and I'm saving up for a nice McCormack-Bryston-Vandersteen system.

I had the same problem with my first set of Klipsch. It had the older crossovers which were known to blow. Once I RMAed it and got the new rev they haven't broken (knock on wood). Shame you had such rotten luck with them.

Yeah, it sucked. My first set was broken before I even plugged it in... now that was REAL frustrating considering I had it on order months before it was released. The second and third time weren't much better, but I did get some good use for about a year or so.

if the subwoofer in the z680 is lacking you have absolutly no idea how music should be properly reproduced.

I have my subwoofer as low as it will go.

Never said it was lacking my friend. Just said daul 8" would outdo it. I've got mine at 0 if not negative most of the time.

a lot of people have said that the bass is kind of "boomy" at times.
