Bought these from a friend for my laptop but they are the wrong speed. My computer takes PC2700 and although it will run PC2100 I want to run PC2700. Packages are unopened.

Why did you give him money if its not what he said it was?

Also, you could already tell he was trying to rip someone off by what he was saying.

He "bought" them from a friend, and must not have even checked them out first, but then somehow realized they were the wrong speed BEFORE he opened the package, and now wants to sell them. But he lists techincal info that someone who knows what they are talking about would list, so its highly doubtfull he would not have realized what he was "buying" from his friend to begin with. I mean, one of the very first questions you ask about ram is "What speed is it"
