What are you trying to do? Are you trying to get a command line prompt? Are you trying to feed parameters into the program? Are you trying to modify JVM parameters?

My first thought is "Don't use NetBeans, use JCreator."

it was a pain and a half trying to run command line in NetBeans on my Dell... not only is NetBeans quirky as hell, but Dell is a pain to work with too.

my suggestion: don't use netbeans... not that that is your issue with the command line, but it'll be helpful later.

I'm with Perlith: What the hell do you mean by "run the command line"?

he was probably trying to send arguments through the command line. That's the only thing I can think of. And one word-Eclipse.
