i just hooked my router up in my room and it works fine for about 10 min, but then it will cut off and connect right back up with my router or try to connect to another...like it's resetting every 5 or 10 min..any idea what is wrong

wow ... you really should try rewording your problem/question, atempt to be somewhat coherent. should i even be suprised that you are a senior in communications and are having trouble, um, communicating?

i'd bet your wireless router is conflicting signals with someone else's and your signal is being broken, you should experiment with changing the wireless channel in your router's config and see if that helps.

however, there are so many possible issues, it'd be useless for me to explain them all if not needed. more information on your router and computer setup with regard to the wireless connection would be a good start.

go to the wireless setup page

it's the local ip address of your network...

ex) linksys = 192.168.1.1
