According to Packpride CSTV will be broadcasting the game. Anyone know of any bars that will be able to pick up the feed? 9/15/2006 7:47:41 AM |

Okay, so I don't have CSTV here as I thought, but it won't matter.
It's seemingly only broadcasted through CSTV's online thing (similar to PackPass) based on this:
http://northcarolinastate.scout.com/2/568643.html
so you'd hafta pay for the scoreboard video feed. It's not listed in their TV schedule: http://www.cstv.com/cgi-bin/tvsched.cgi?gameSel=FOOTBALL
If you have TWC and have the sports package, CSTV is on that as well, as I recall an ECU game being on it last football season, so if it ends up on TV, it'll be widely available in Raleigh

$6.95 to watch us play like crap...I think not. I'd rather watch Tenn vs Fla and Nebraska @ USC and Clemson @ FSU.
Good luck to us...I may listen a bit on XM...if its being carried. 9/15/2006 8:45:48 AM |
SouthPaW12 All American 10141 Posts user info edit post |
Yeah, it'll be on XM, channel 191 or 193 I think.
I'm feeling the Clemson/FSU game on beautiful ESPN HD; Neb/USC doesn't interest me at all. 9/15/2006 8:53:08 AM |

It's $2.95 from TWC for the Digital Sports package (with CSTV). http://www.timewarnercable.com/nc/products/cable/digitaltiers.html
But it doesn't look like the SMU game will be on TV, just streaming on the internet?

^ Exactly, it'll be internet-only as the PackPride posts states fairly clearly that the video feed will come from the scoreboard, just like PackPass video does. 9/15/2006 9:02:04 AM |

So basically CSTV shows some mediocre games on their internet feed, but shows only the crappiest games on air (Arkansas-Pine Bluff v. Alabama State)? 9/15/2006 9:43:12 AM |

The game mentioned was played last week, and they are actually REAIRING it tomorrow evening....rather than showing a live game (or even tape delayed) in its place.
So, I MIGHT buy this, but, if anyones planning to capture this game let me know. I would, but Im at a loss as to recording streaming video. (And yeah, Im a glutton for punishment, but Ive been recording and archiving all of the games, win or lose, for a few years now).9/15/2006 2:15:28 PM |

Last week, VS (which used to be OLN) had a game or two on simulcast from CSTV. Maybe they'll show the game on there. 9/15/2006 3:02:57 PM |

i dont think you guys understand...cstv isnt doing any presentation or game commentary. they are just showing what southern miss will be showing on their scoreboard...just like we did with the appstate game. the southern miss commentary will be the audio on the live video...i dont see nor think theres any way cstv will pick that up and put that on cable television. they would need broadcast trucks and such... 9/15/2006 3:22:13 PM |
