bogey, bogey, double, bogey, bogey
good start, she has positioned herself in last place by a stroke
this should be sufficiently embarassing for her to give up on the mens tour sponsors exemptions, and try to win on the ladies tour
and i don't think its hot enough in pennsylvania for her to claim heat exhaustion!!! 9/15/2006 11:14:56 AM |

the sad thing is, she has talent, but has yet to even win yet on the LPGA.
She is making a mockery not only of herself and her skills, but also of the womens tour in general.
Please. Stop the insanity! 9/15/2006 11:23:30 AM |

^i blame nike on this one
they invested 10 million in this girl; plus marketing expenses and they are trying to get their return on investment
fact is; wie gets much more press playing with the men, so I am sure somebody is pushing her/forcing her that way
seems to me like they may burn her out

She just can't putt worth a damn....plus she is only 16 so she makes some stupid mistakes and bad swings...I think when she hits 19 or 20 she will make some cuts at Mens events. She is just trying to do too much too fast.
She is averaging over $100k per start on the LPGA...she is over $700k in 7 starts. I'd say she is doing just fine there and maybe at 18 she should start back with the mens events. 9/15/2006 11:37:42 AM |

WHY DOES THIS BITCH GET SO MUCH PRESS? HER AND DANICA PATRICK!
WIN SOMETHING... THEN ACT LIKE YOU'RE A BIG SHOT.
NEITHER BEING 14 OR LEADING A FEW LAPS AT INDY EQUALS WINNING ANYTHING

AMEN... i'm so tired of hearing about Wie, I know she's got talent and all, especially for her age, but she has NEVER WON!!! I wish they would stop making such a big deal about her playing mens events when she can't even beat the women, if they want a woman to actually compete with the men, it would only make sense to pick somebody who can actually beat other women!!!
Plus, she might be ruining her entire career because of her lack of expereince winning events. She is already gaining a reputation on the LPGA as a "choker" and her playing only in events she loses doesn't help her gain experience in close matches down the wire. She needs to go back to playing amateur and learn how to win since she never really got that experience. When she finally wins some events against the women, then let her play the guys again if she still wants to! 9/15/2006 12:47:11 PM |

i'm telling you, they get so much press because they're seen as breaking barriers... vaginas in a man's sport.
Well, they're setting back barriers if you ask me. THEY CAN'T FUCKING WIN. 9/15/2006 12:50:20 PM |

The sponsors should give an exemption to Annika and let her play instead of Wie. 9/15/2006 12:51:31 PM |

they should let guys play on the lpga if she can play on the pga tour. they want to be equal, then we will have it that way 9/15/2006 12:52:06 PM |

^^^^ HAHAHA great idea, once all the guys who can't compete with Tiger swtich the the LPGA and start winning all the money, those women will be re-thinking "equality" 9/15/2006 12:54:40 PM |

Exactly she can't beat her peers but thinks she can do better?
If Annika, possibly the best of all time, can't do it, the Michelle can't.
