I did all of the custom work on this myself, the only stock part still inside is the actual Cylinder/Cylinder head. The gun is VERY accurate. I have had numerous long range headshots, the guys at the Raleigh field can tell you all about it. Also, the gun is practically brand new, less then 200 rounds through it. Id like to get at least $320 for it.

If these things shoot plastic bb's then I can;t imagine they have a very extensive range about them..

in california, go figure, i do believe there are leagues. similar to paintball where they shoot airsoft guns. They do hurt like hell if you get hit in the wrong spot or from too close.

i think it's an asian thing. bb guns are popular as hell in south korea, and you can get very high quality pistols or rifles that are made of steel, weighted, adjustable firing rates, and look exactly like the real thing. they're cheap too. the toy stores (there's like one on every block) carry all kinds of bbs and pellets for them too - different materials, sizes, wieghts, and shapes.

Cheaper and not as messy as paintball, but still fun. Gotta wear eye protection and plenty of clothes cause it'll leave welts if you're too close. I played in a BB war when I lived on a military base in Japan so I know how it feels.

The guns in this thread are nothin to mess with, but even the spring-action ones pack a punch. Got a Desert Eagle from Japan for a roommate. He pointed it down at the carpet and pulled the trigger. The BB bounced back up, hit the CEILING, and then we ducked as it ricocheted off a couple pieces of furniture. Never did find that BB...

Speaking of which, I have a trio of spring-action guns I guess I'll get rid of. Didn't want to jack this thread so I put it on CL. (http://raleigh.craigslist.org/spo/246880503.html)

The warnings that come with them look funny. First 2 Tokyo Marui, last one Academy (Korean).

Airsoft guns can shoot brass BB's if you think plastic is too whimpy... And you could get those thing shoot upto 450fps. That enough to penetrate skin easily. They also make paintball BB's. Airsoft guns are used for training purposes in law enforcement, military, and are used in Hollywood too (since the guns are realistic and actually almost built with the same weight and feel of the real deal). And this is considered a sport in Asia (mostly Korea and Tokyo).

sig went, yeah.

the sniper rifle, which with its upgrades would retail for about $400 with the shipping from overseas, has very good accuracy at long range. I dont know how far exactly, over 100 feet with an inch or two deviation. It has 425 fps velocity on it.
