I just started needing to create tables and import items into Oracle and they have me using some bastard program called dbsaint which reminds me of windows 95, buggy, crashes a lot and looks older than my grandmother. Oh did I mention you can't import anything with it?
So I think, HEY! Oracle has their own tool don't they? doesn't work with our version.
Any open source tools you'd recommend? I'm told Toad is good but it's not free. Looking for something longterm. I appreciate it! 9/28/2006 4:20:20 PM |

I try to stick to using one tool for all my needs. MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc. I do a lot of work for people on the side and would like to find one tool that does it all. Just trying to find a open source way to go. My needs are simple.
Import .xls files, create basic tables and write a couple triggers. 9/28/2006 4:34:56 PM |
