Hey guys. I have concert tickets for Staind w/ Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin and one other band. Its an all day event from 3:30pm-11:30pm. There are two lawn tickets with VIP Parking passes. I bought the tickets cause I really wanted to see Three Days Grace but I have two tests on Monday and a paper due and since I hate Staind and dont really know the other bands I decided it would be too much of a hassle. If you are interested try to let me know before 5:00! Thanks! -jenni

Ok, well thats fine and all, but I obviously dont get on here a lot and hes being mean cause i accidentally posted things twice and in the wrong spot....and then goes into my thread like "people are already looking for these tickets?" Ok, what is the point of even saying that? To be rude? People are looking for these tickets, ok well great, now they will see my thread and maybe they will want them. I just dont understand what the big deal is, him being so antagonistic to my thread. Its not harming him!! Then comming into the tread and copying our messages on the screen and saying derogatory things about me to the public like we are in kindergarden and he is "Telling on me?" It blows my mind how childish that is!!!!! Im just like damn.. i cant even come in here and post one damn thread without getting inundated with rudeness. And we grew up in the same city, he is supposed to be nice to me!! haha.

heh we didn't grow up in the same city - i only lived there for my last 2 years of HS (but my parents still do live there in prospect) - you can blame St.X's impeccable grooming

Well....close enough, you know what i mean. You are probably the only person in NCState who would know what i was talking about if i mentioned going to Thunder over Louisville for the 4th of July or buying pegasus pins or having to drive on Speghetti Junction! That has to count for something right!?!?

thunder is 2 weeks prior to derby - and typically puts the 4th of july fireworks display to shame

when/from where did you graduate?

but indeed - i'm not angry at you - it's just tww - be more careful and i wouldn't have even said anything had you not called me an ass for moving a thread to the section it belongs in

Oops, you are definitely right. All i remember is that it was kind of rediculous. (Ive been out of Louisville for a while now) However, my parents do still have a derby party every single year and get real crazy with it like having 60 ppl there and betting on horses and drinking mint juleps. I won 250 dollars a few years back when I picked the right horse! LOL. I am graduating from NcState this year.....I moved here when I was in middle school. Its nice to see someone else around who has lived in Louisville though. No one believes me when I tell them that Louisville is not country at all.......especially compared to NC!

i definitely agree with that - i'd consider raleigh more country/redneck than louisville

have you been back since 4th street live was formed - completely revitalized downtown nightlife - no longer just stuck on bardstown rd.

No, I havnt been back since high school. I dont have any relatives there and you know you just kind of fall out of touch with childhood friends who live 400 miles away, lol. I remember the last time I was back though, it had already gotten so much bigger and more refined. I want to go back sooo bad and just see how everything is now. Ok Questions: Did you ever eat at an ice cream shop called Graeters? Do you know what Rally's, Ponderosa and Rax and Shoney's are??? Do they still have the pop "Big Red"????? It was my favorite drink ever and they dont have it down here and i crave it. =(

yeah there is a graeter's up the road from my parent's place in springhurst - iv'e been to rally's/ponderosa/shoney's but i don't believe i've been to any of them in louisville - i think those were all when i lived in nashville

they still make big red

it's the 16th largest city - downtown is a lot cleaner now imho also

^^^^ Graeters is the best shit in the world! I have it delivered to me all the way in NC!!!! It costs like $100 but it is so worth it!!!! Do you not agree that it is the most amazing ice cream ever?

Influenced by both Midwestern and Southern culture, Louisville is often referred to as the northernmost Southern city and southernmost Northern city in the United States. - That is what wickipedia has to say about louisville. haha.

But yeah, Louisville was definitely SO much better then Raleigh. Louisville has a Zoo, an amusment park, churchill downs, festivals, culture. All raleigh has is a few bars on Glenwood South. Ahah ohwell, what can you do?
