Can you use any bluetooth headset with any bluetooth enabled phone? 10/1/2006 12:37:09 PM |

Not always. Some manufacturers limit the phones capability. For example I sell Motorola phones that can only use Motorola headsets, but will not work on my LG cellphone. I had to get the LG bluetooth set. 10/1/2006 12:39:27 PM |

That almost defeats the purpose of using a standard like bluetooth... 10/1/2006 1:05:55 PM |

A phone that is bluetooth enabled should not have any compatibility issues with any bluetooth headset.
I currently use a Motorola HS850 headset with an LG CU500 phone and they work together fine. 10/1/2006 11:34:14 PM |

For those of you who own the blueant x3 micro, do you have smaller ears? I tried the motorola H500 headset for my RAZR phone and the damn thing wouldn't stay on my ear, it would slide right off.

i don't think my ears are particularly large or small...the rubberized cover tends to conform to your ear and then stays there because it's rubberized
my only complaint with the x3 micro is my complaint with all class 2 bluetooth devices - 30 meters is not enough...i'd love to have a class 1 device, but i don't feel like spending that much money, and my nokia doesn't support it anyway
