sounds like a good letdown game. i'll say 21-20 panthers, but its tempting to go with the browns. 10/1/2006 6:05:33 PM |

anyone ever ebayed tickets for a football game?
I'm just wondering what good prices are...buy it now seems to take away much of the hassle of a auction, but i'm guessing auctions are way cheaper 10/1/2006 10:56:59 PM |
NCSUStinger Duh, Winning 62457 Posts user info edit post |
it really depends, auctions have a tendancy to have scalpers bid the price way out of reach in the last 10 min
buy it now only works when some non-scalper/broker doesnt know what the real value is 10/1/2006 10:58:56 PM |
dweedle All American 77386 Posts user info edit post |
i tried to get tickets on ebay for the first preseason game, and both auctions were cancelled
but luckily julius' ma came through and we were in the private suite w/ them 10/1/2006 11:05:02 PM |
drunknloaded Suspended 147487 Posts user info edit post |
damn, why'd they cancel the auctions?
also, i noticed while walking to this game that there were many scalpers outside the stadium...how much do the scalpers at the games charge?
more or less than ebay? 10/1/2006 11:07:02 PM |

The Panthers aren't a GREAT team because they get too conservative when they have a lead and tend to play down to their opponents.
Hmmmm sounds familar to a team I like in college..... 10/2/2006 12:27:35 AM |

1996 dallas or 2003 dallas?
i also heard from several season ticket holders that the 2003 dallas game was one of the loudest they had ever been to. 10/2/2006 11:33:42 AM |

i was at the 2003 game and yeah it was loud
but you cant expect a week 4 regular season game to be that loud...regular season vs. playoffs

Pvt. Winslow,
Your mission is to infiltrate Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, and find the end zone. This will not be an easy mission as the enemy, consisting of white, black, and blue, will come at all directions. Beware of such enemies as Peppers, Draft, Lucas, and Gamble while in the field of battle. They consider you public enemy number one. If you do not complete your mission, we will cease all connections between you and the Cleveland Browns. Your mission begins 09.08.06 at 1300. At ease, soldier. You're dismissed.
Sincerely, Sgt. Crennel
That was my little bit, but now the score.

Panthers need to use this game to figure out their damn secondary. Made Drew Brees look like Peyton freakin Manning (if you like 6'5" 230 lb quarterbacks, laser rocket arm). 10/2/2006 1:04:55 PM |
TreeTwista10 minisoldr 148450 Posts user info edit post |
i mean peyton would've probably thrown for more than one touchdown
and if minter and lucas hadnt gotten tangled up brees probably wouldnt have even thrown for one 10/2/2006 1:10:04 PM |

^ yeah that play went for 86 yards, so about 50 yards should be hacked off of Brees' total. But there were some lapses that left people wide open. 10/2/2006 1:14:53 PM |

Quote : | "News and Notes Oct 7 Mary Kay Cabot, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards is planning to humiliate Carolina Panthers CB Chris Gamble during the Week 5 game. The Michigan receiver caught seven passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns against Gamble, a cornerback with Ohio State, the last time they played against each other in 2003. Edwards also caught an 87-yard touchdown pass that was nullified by a holding call. The two came to blows in the first half of the game and Edwards drew Gamble into a personal foul penalty. "I destroyed Gamble every time I played him. If he happens to match up on me, I'll treat him just like I treat anybody else - I'm going to try and destroy him. I know Chris Gamble like the back of my hand. They matched him up on me both years and I know him probably better than anybody in this league," said Edwards. " |
