I'm curious how Zito wasn't off to a good start with only one runner on base, please stop regurgitating Morgan, I heard him the first time. 10/3/2006 1:38:36 PM |

What about in the regular season? ST? 10/3/2006 1:41:25 PM |
Mr E Nigma All American 5450 Posts user info edit post |
ST doesnt mean shit. In the regular season teams dont tend to be as agressive in the post season...a lot of guys try and hit homeruns...but in the playoffs teams tend to play little ball. Watch thoughtout the playoffs how many times a leadoff walk scores. 10/3/2006 1:44:22 PM |

You got it, I'll keep an eye out. I'm just glad Zito bounced back from that "not looking too good" to record nine outs in nine batters. 10/3/2006 1:54:21 PM |

it's kind of cool. it's also buggy and kind of stupid b/c it's slow. I'd rather have it tell me what's going on 10s sooner than waiting to see what kind of movement was on the pitch. also you can't see who's on base--edit, they fixed that I guess.

Great hustle play by Swisher turning that into a double.
Street should come in to close the door in the 9th ... One or two insurance runs wouldn't be bad here.

Minnesota is finished. If only Johan Santana could pitch three games in a row ESPN would demand Oakland forfeit. Oh, and nice job by ESPN to zoom into the A's after the win catching some good profanity by Kotsay!!!
