All,
Put up a new website this summer with the help of few folks on tdub. My appreciation for all the hints. If anyone has some time to blow, check out www.sourcetosea.net and see if there's something that can be done better. (Tags, page names, anything really)
If any of you folks are into paddling/canoeing, this site is about our 2,150 canoe trip down the Mississippi River last year in conjuction with the Audubon Society. I'll be paddling the Cape Fear River this November and will be doing some education components with school groups, water quality testing, and a bunch of other stuff with river groups.
Thanks in advance,

Basically I've tweaked things around, added a few pages, reorganized a couple of sections (journals, book excerpts), that kind of stuff. Just added the Cape Fear page yesterday in order to get media and school teachers up to speed on what's going on. 10/5/2006 7:38:40 PM |

Do we really have an Envinmental Services division? (under the Cape Fear link, beneath "Working with schools")
Also, personally, i prefer web pages that stretch to fill the browser window, rather than remain at a fixed width. OVerall, it's not too bad. But the blue links being only on the left, with nothing but text on the right (no pics usually), seems a little unbalanced to me.10/5/2006 7:53:52 PM |

It's a newer division, unknown to anyone but me
I agree about the window stretching, but I'm doing this thing on Rapidweaver and it's all on their templates. I'm sure there's some way to change it around, but that's way past my tiny bit of knowledge about this. I'm just trying to get the content tighter and semi-presentable.
When the book finally drops and I'm rich and famous, I'm going to farm this out to some company. That, or take a few classes in web design/HTML/CSS. I really don't want to completely outsource it if I don't have to.
Thanks for the comments ya'll. 10/6/2006 7:51:04 AM |
