he may actually come in and take over the starting job.
I think he can do well in their scheme not to mention he likes to work out of the shotgun and can be mobile to avoid the rush and lack of blocking his team is experience. 10/17/2006 11:41:00 PM |

I wish I had the power to determine whether lines had punctuation before reading them. 10/17/2006 11:56:08 PM |

Quote : | "Marcus Vick rejoins Dolphins as WR
MIAMI (AP) - Former Virginia Tech quarterback Marcus Vick rejoined the Miami Dolphins as a receiver Tuesday after spending the first six weeks of the season on their practice squad.
To make room on the roster for Vick, the Dolphins terminated the contract of wide receiver Cliff Russell. He played in three games and caught two passes for 14 yards.
Vick will provide depth at quarterback while sidelined starter Daunte Culpepper focuses on rehabilitating his surgically repaired right knee. Joey Harrington and Cleo Lemon are the Dolphins' other quarterbacks.
Miami signed Vick as an undrafted free agent and switched him to receiver after he was kicked off the team at Virginia Tech in January following his junior year. He caught one touchdown pass, played as a kick returner and took a handful of snaps at quarterback during the exhibition season.
Vick's tumultuous, abbreviated career at Virginia Tech was marred by repeated brushes with the law and other misbehavior. He's the brother of Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick.
The Dolphins (1-5) could use a spark on offense after scoring eight touchdowns in six games." |
At least the Dolphins are smart enough to do to him what Atlanta should have done to his lameass brother.
