Alright, this is how its gonna look for the remainder of the season.

How many more games do you think we can loose, if any, and think about making it to the championship game.

HEY YOU LISTED 6 GAMES FOR BC AND FSU, NOT 5

but seriously i think we pretty much have to win out...i dont see clemson losing one of their conference games...and a tie of 4-2 would go to them with a better overall record i believe...wake should lose to either bc and/or fsu...i dunno hopefully we can beat maryland, go to 3-1, and have some luck

I just hope we win the games we are supposed to win and keep things close against GT and Clemson. I'm sure we'll find a way to lose to either UNC, UVA, or UMD or maybe all three.

i think ga tech and clemson are 50/50 games. i hope we don't lose (again), but i haven't been talking shit to carolina fans the past 2 years for a good reason.

In any other year, you could predict this shit out. But this year, I have no idea how each of those teams will play.

How will Miami and FSU perform? Usually those are instant losses, but this year?

ETC.

I could easily see the winner of our division having 2-3 losses.

does tie of conference record go to the head to head winner or to the overall record winner?

ties go to head to head. so basically we can lose any 1 game except clemson and still likely win it(wake would have to lose 2 and i think they have 4 very loseable games left).

In the event we did lose to clemson there is still hope. wake would have to lose 2 and clemson could very well lose to both techs.

mainly i just want to bowl. and a shitty bowl isnt really a possibility with our ooc. we either will be in a decent bowl good bowl or no bowl. kinda funny if you think about it

I would go more like 20/80, thus a 4% chance of us winning both

clemson= 35/65 them
gt=60/40 us

at home. at night. only way gt beats us is if calvin johnson absolutly goes buckwild and we turn it over 2 or 3 times. they have no really good run game and you gotta have that to beat us.

only way we beat clemson is if we find a way to stop the run which has been our only big problem this season and were in death valley against a great team all around.

this is ncstate...we'll be amped to play GT and Clemson and I believe we'll go 1-1. but we'll also lose to either maryland or unc just because, we're ncstate. that's at least 3 ACC losses. that's at most a 7-5 record if we beat UVA and ECU. low bowl or no bowl in my opinion.

If we go 7-5 I'll be satisfied because coming into this season every team on our schedule was ranked higher than us by some douchnozzles....plus...if you had told me we lose to USM and Akron and go 7-5, I'd have shit my pants. We have some work to do. I'm not worrying about ACC championship. I just want a winning record.

It's like a circle. Clemson beat Wake, Wake beat NC State, NC State beat BC, and BC beat Clemson. That's totally fucked up.

Quote :
"Two-Team Tie
1. Head-to-head competition between the two tied teams

2. Records of the tied teams within the division.

3. Head-to-head competition versus the team within the division with the best overall record.(divisional) Conference record and proceeding though the division. Multiple ties within the division broken from first to last.

4. Overall record versus all common non-divisional opponents.

5. Combined record vs. all non-divisional teams.

6. Record versus common non-divisional teams based on their order of finish (divisional and non-divisional) and proceeding through other common non-divisional teams based on their order of finish within their division.

7. The tied team with the highest ranking in the Bowl Championship Series Standings following the end of regular season games shall be the divisional representative in the ACC Championship Game.

8. The representative shall be chosen by a draw.

Three (or More) Team Tie
(Once tie has been reduced to two teams, the two-team tiebreaker format is used)
1. Combined head-to-head record among the tied teams

2. Records of the tied teams within the division.

3. Head-to-head competition vs. the team within the division with the best overall (divisional or conference) record, and proceeding through the division. Multiple ties within the division will be broken first to last.

4. Overall record for non-divisional teams.

5. Combined record versus all common non-divisional teams.

6. Record versus common non-divisional with the best overall Conference (divisional) and non-divisional record and proceeding through the other common non-divisional teams based on their order of finish within the division.

7. The tied team with the highest ranking in the Bowl Championship Series Standings following the conclusion of regular season games shall be the divisional representative in the ACC Championship Game, unless the second of the tied teams is ranked within five-or-fewer places of the highest ranked tied team. In this case, the head-to-head results of the top two ranked tied teams shall determine the representative in the ACC Championship Game.

8. The representative shall be chosen by a draw."

these last couple of weeks has yielded more diagnoses of trisomy 21 than i have seen in a long time.

we beat 2 ranked teams and omfg we're going to be ACC champs - we lose to a solid solid Wake team and omfg we sux!

you all need to learn how to operate with a greater tolerance for ambiguity.

dont get me wrong, i hope we win all our games but you know realistically we wont...we're nc state...beat clemson and ga tech, lose to unc, va, or md...

if we could be 7-5, you should take that...10% chance of 8-4 or higher

we played our asses off for 2 games and gave 1 away...we cant do that anymore

and nc state fans need to cheer for ga tech on saturday night

10% chance we beat GT and Clemson. 60% chance we beat UVA and Terps. 80% chance we beat UNC and ECU.

Clemson is the biggest game for us.

Wake will lose 2 of its last ACC games. If we lose to Clemson we have to count on Clemson losing to someone else.

We have are hands full even trying to make it IMHO

We arent completely out of it, but weve got to pull off some miracles to make it happen.

Not saying I think we will make it, especially since I cant imagine us managing to defend Clemson in Death Valley, but we arent eliminated until we are actually eliminated.
