Mobile Pentium 4 2.20GHz
Level 2 Cashe: 512 Kb
System Memory: 256MB
Video Controller: ATI Radeon 9000 32MB
Screen: 15.4" Wide WUXGA
Audio Controller: Sigmatel 9750
Primary Hard Drive: 30 GB

Modular CD-RW/DVD Combo
Modular Battery Pack

Weight: 14 lbs

Fresh Format with Windows XP Home Edition

3 Years old (purchased 09/29/2003).

Secondary (Modular) Battery only used on occassion, works perfectly, holds a charge like new.
Original Battery works very well (holds a charge like new). The AC Adapter works perfectly.

I purchased a desktop a little over a year ago and since then, have been out of school. Had no real need for a laptop since the purchase of the desktop, and finally, have decided to see what you guys might give for it. I've hardly used it recently. Gave it a good format with fresh install of Windows XP Home Ed. Some other programs are included, but have yet to be installed. Whoever buys it can decide if they want those programs installed or not (ie: Spy Sweeper, Adaware, Zone Alarm Plus, Ashampoo, etc...) Great laptop for watching video's, doing school work... Included is a carrying case and Linksys 2.4 GHz 802.11b Wireless card (ver. 1.3)

Cosmetically in above average condition. Very few scratches.

It runs solid and still looks great. Feel free to ask questions. Sorry, no digi camera, so no pics avail. You can stop by and take a look at it if seriously interested.

Asking: $550

If you are looking to get 550 for your computer, I would sell it elsewhere

You'd be lucky to get 300 here

If I don't ask, I won't ever recieve right? I can understand why you feel that is high. That's cool. I know it's in great condition and have no problem keeping it another 5 years, maybe more... Its not the best gaming system, or the fastest one. But it can get the job done. Its a comfortable compromise if you need something portable yet capable.

I don't know if I'm selling it now or not. I just seeing what you guys might give for it, considering it may be of more use to someone else. If it's right, then I'll sell. If not, I don't mind keeping it. I can always use it later perhaps.

To give you a fair price comparsion, you can get new Dell laptops w/ better specs for about $600-700

You laptop is outdated and if can't take the hit, just keep it....its probably worth more to you anyways.

I do have original Acronis system backup, but figured I should just format the hd clean anyways. Complete fresh install. If you want, you can simply spend 5-10 min and use the restore as well.. That too is included.

Alright. Decided to get rid of the lap top. Who wants it? Asking a more reasonable $360, since that's what has been previously offered.

How many usb's? 1.0 or 2.0 (I'm assuming 2.0 since it was 2003, but I want to be sure).

Just whenever.... I got a "serious" bid via pm for $375. But then again, he hasn't responded. So its still up for grabs.

oh, btw. 2 usb ports.

How about this...

I'm looking to get no lower than $350. So, the first person who pm's me, comes to my house, calls me, (whatever) gets it.

It may/may not be a bit of a stretch, but at least it will speed things up and end the haggling. Unless someone wants to offer more... then w/e.. i'm down for that too

but do the thinkpad or the dell compare to a macbook pro? Unix core with a great desktop = great for everyone but gamers.... That is why God gave us the console
