The appeasers continue to fail, over and over. The vanguards of the nanny state will soon fall, that's my prediction.

So if France had supported the US in invading Iraq would you still have sand in your vagina over them?

But your personal beliefs are abundantly obvious by the link you posted. So are you going to post something substantive or just your usual trite ignorance?

You do realize that France was crucial in helping the US win its independence against Great Britain, right?

Why do you hate America?

So who is Randy again? He admitted he wasn't for real, but everyone's still acting like he is.

Lock it because no one is going to read it anyways.

Besides, I thought you were banning yourself from this site.

of course he has.
otherwise, it would be silly and foolish to making sweeping generalizations like "i despise these people", based only on the country they live. and we know Randy is anything but silly and foolish, right?

When I was in Paris, we hung out with some french college students that we met. The way they were talking, student/youth "riots" were a fairly common event.

France has problems and they do some really stupid stuff as far as freedom of speech and what not but I dont hate them. They make good food and wine.

i was in Paris last year during the large riots. My wife and i were there for 5 days for our first anniversary and the riots started on the 2nd day we were there. We didn't even know they were occurring until the day before we left and didn't find out much about them until we got back to Munich, where we were living at the time. So as bad as they might have sounded on TV or in the US, it's not like the whole country, or even a large part of Paris, was in dire straights.

I spent some time w/ French students too. They're passionate about issues that concern them, like labor laws and getting a fair deal in contract negotiations. I wish we were.

The french government was crucial in helping us win, and how did the french people react to this? They beheaded them.

PinkandBlack, we are serious about it. That's why you are free to sign any contract you want with your employer.

Well, except that your hourly rate cannot be less than $6.15 an hour. Oh, and you must get overtime above 40 hours. Etc.

I guess non-salaried low-pay workers cannot be trusted to negotiate an equitible contract. Would you really be happier if none of us were trusted to negotiate our own contracts?

It just bothers me that people are rioting to take away the rights of others.

i serioulsy hope you arent saying that the leaders were executed because they supported the US colonists...i mean, thats what you said, but i'm assuming you want to rephrase that.

oh look, lonesnark is here to lecture on libertarianism and the evils of the minimum wage for the 24354 time. how predictable.

everyone here is so goddam predictable *sniff sniff* "do i smell, TALK OF WAGE REGUALATIONS? LIBERTARIANS AWAY!

i didnt say they were right in their labor laws, theyve still got a lot of stupid gaullist principles in place for no functional reason, though i do agree with having a minimum wage.

Just trust I am not doing so for your sake. Well, except to explain, for the 24354th time why the average American teenager is not passionate about the same things as the average French teenager. Liberty is a tenet of being American, we just think poor people are stupid. Democracy and fraternity are tenets of being French, they just don't realize government bureaucrats are stupid.
