I'm looking to buy a pda, but only for a few purposes.
I want a pda that can connect to Nomad, so I can check my email in the brickyard without lugging around my laptop. I also want to be able to use AIM wirelessly.
^and that's about it
I'm not interested in much else as far as software goes, a web browser fulfills most of my organizational needs (through google calendar, gmail, etc.)
As far as price, I don't want to invest too much, then I might as well get a new cell phone that supports these features (which I don't want to pay for).
Any recommendations? Maybe I should have posted this on the Classifieds board... wtb 10/26/2006 12:25:56 AM |

Palm TX, a PSP w/ or wo/ homebrew would be more than enough for that. Might not want to bother spending more and getting a windows based pocket pc. 10/26/2006 12:33:15 AM |

if you use cingular/att/t-mobile, I'd recommend a cingular 8125. They're about $300 and it's a full blow ppc as well as a cell phone. if you're like me and you already carry a ton of shit in your pockets, you won't have room for one more thing. a good pocket pc will run you ~$300 anyway. 10/26/2006 2:30:28 AM |
