So I am relatively new to using Linux. I recently installed kubuntu on my laptop and I like it way better than WinXP. I'd like to setup my desktop to dual boot with both so my wife can use WinXP when she needs to.
I have two hard drives (80GB & 30GB) and I'd like to use the 80GB solely for media storage(mp3, DVDs, etc.). Is it possible to set this drive up as a slave and partition it in such a way so that both OSs can access it? 10/27/2006 4:40:19 PM |

Right now, stable Linux support of NTFS is read-only. If you aren't ultra-paranoid about security on that drive (like hiding porno from the wife ), use FAT32. 10/27/2006 8:17:11 PM |
