One 20" Widescreen Apple Cinema Display:

Quote :
"The Apple Cinema Display series lets you focus your creative energies by keeping your desktop layout simple. Edit images and web pages up to two full pages at a time, or view multiple video streams or DVDs in full widescreen. Delivering up to 1,680 x 1,050-pixel resolution, the new 20-inch Apple Cinema Display offers twice the brightness, twice the sharpness, and twice the contrast ratio of the typical CRT display.

Wide viewing angles (170 degrees horizontal and vertical) enable easy placement in your workstation, and Apple's ColorSync technology allows you to create custom profiles to maintain consistent color onscreen and in print. Pixel response time is fast for seamless full-motion video. Although Apple does not provide a specific pixel response time (usually stated in milliseconds), it claims that the monitor is designed to respond quickly across the entire color spectrum, while most manufacturers report only the transition from black to white.

The pure digital interface delivers distortion-free images that never need adjusting, meaning that user controls are streamlined and kept to a minimum. Compatible with the Power Mac G4 desktop series or PowerBook G4 laptops, the 20-inch Apple Cinema Display does require Mac OS X v10.2 or higher and connects through the Apple Display Connector (ADC) cable for digital video, USB, and power.

Product Description
The 20-inch (diagonal) Apple Cinema Display offers a panoramic view - enough to see as much as two full A4-size pages of text, with room left over for menus, video clips, tool bars and palettes. With a resolution of 1680 by 1050 pixels, the Apple Cinema Display delivers twice the brightness, twice the sharpness and three times the contrast of ordinary displays. The Apple Cinema Display is ideal for the demanding professional user. "

I can't justify having this when I've got all these unconnected monitors sitting around. The connection is ADC (Apple Display) but comes with an ADC --> DVI conversion box that allows you to use both the monitor on a DVI connection as well as the USB ports on the monitor. It'll work on any PC with a DVI connection.

The monitor received light office use over the past few years. The ratio is 16:10, supported by Valve. There are no dead pixels to my knowledge (light use over the past few weeks).

I also have two 17" Apple Cinema Display monitors, both have the above-mentioned ADC --> DVI conversion box.

Let me know if any of this piques your interest.

Whatever is typical... i.e. not widescreen. 4:3 I guess you'd say.

Additionally, these are all LCD displays (if that wasn't obvious).

appreciate the interest. I'm balancing the idea of having 3 flat screen monitors and the idea of not being a techno-geek at the moment.

If you're interested, I might throw in an apple keyboard / mouse if you are concerned about aesthetics.
