The story is still due on Tuesday, but I'll be out of town that day so I'm turning mine in on Monday. There was a really low turnout today, I guess a lot of ppl didn't have their stories ready!

heh, our minimum is 2000 words, which is about 8 pages. It would be really hard to write a short story in only 5 pages, that's like 1400 words!

for the last story, one kid wrote 30,000 words (about 30 pages!)

15 pages so far - that's about normal short story length, I think. Some are longer, others shorter. And 5 pages for a story is very possible - in some ways, it's more challenging than a longer story, because you have to convey as much with less. Which reminds me that my 3rd story for 388 is due before Tuesday. I'm looking at about 5 pages, mostly because of time issues.
