^ But you're right, if I was gonna buy it new I would get it with the kit lens because it's a much better deal. Unfortunately for me these entry-level dSLR bodies don't depreciate all that much which is why I'm offering $400 cash for just the body.

have you tried a used camera store? i would do this but i don't feel like upgrading right now. its really a good deal for both people. i got the no fault damage protection on mine though so i think in a year i'm gonna "accidently" break mine beyond repair. then sell it like new

^ Thanks, I have checked that out. However they don't have good prices on used D70's or D50's. The only used D70 kit on that site is $729 plus shipping which I don't think is a good deal, Adorama has it for $699 used plus I'm not looking to buy that lens.
