i did the same thing for the xbox 360 release---- i will type up a full contract with all terms and conditioned- we will meet early in the week and have it signed by a notary this way u are entitled to your merchandise.

Upon pickup you will pay me via cash, money order, or cashiers check and I will provide the service


it is pretty simple really- If youare someoen whon is going to wind up spending $1300-$2000 to buy them on ebay....... I will offer the same thing for $900

for every console launch i've seen in the past years the stores limit you to the number of systems you can buy. for the 360 i think it was 1. for ps2 i think it was 2 or 3. so good luck getting 10, that probably be the whole shipment at a lot of stores.

ok- here we go again....

You can only purchase 1 per individual.

I have 10 individuals not including myself and girlfriend who are willing to camp out for however long it takes to get the systems.

We are taking on investors to fund the purchase of system as well as a fee for the service we are offering - each individual purchases their own system (funded by investor) and then delivers to that individual at best buy once system is obtained,.

i will be purchasing 2 myself that i will sell personally- however I am paying people to camp out and keeping a small amount for myself off of each unit sold.

also- theyb are releasing 400,000 systems- bestbuy is recieving 200,000. With roughly 500 stores nation wide and the systems being evenly distributed that will be roughly 400 units per location.




You guys really need to "think" about the situation rather than just bullshit.

In other words- TO KEEP IT SIMPLE FOR EVERYONE-

If you would like a playstation 3 and
a) don;t want to camp in line for 2 days
b) don;t want to pay $2000 for it on ebay
c) don;t want to wait until april next year for it to be easily available

then I will get it for you for $900

if you actually have 10 people, then yeah it'll work. however your numbers are off. BB isn't getting anywhere near 200,000 ps3s. walmart alone has almost 4000 stores in the US so you can bet they are gonna get a rather big chunk of the shipments (i've seen that they signed an agreement with sony guranteeing each wally world 38 so thats 152000 at least of the 400,000 total. Then you have to think about Target, CC, and EB games getting a big chunk as well. BB has 750+ US retail stores, so you can figure that each BB is probably going to get on average around 40 ps3's.

still, good plan if you have the time. just make sure you're #1 in line

Best Buy did purchase 200,000 of them. If you check the web page with distribution of systems it is listed who got what. BB took the rights to half of the systems, walmart to almost a 1/4 and the the little guys split up the rest.

If i wanted one, I would definetly pay him $250 to camp for me.

I would rather pay someone $250 than take 2-3 vacation days off of work just to be miserable outside of a store for those days.

i will not disclose the pay scale as that is a personal agreement between myself and the peopl camping and has no real bearing to anyone else involved ina purchase.

as far as penalty for not getting one? that would be something personally discussed and determined on an individual basis with myself and buyers.

however it is impossible the way I am working this for someone to spend money and not receive the merchandise.

Also- I know for a fact that there will be at least (bare minimum) 200systems at BB- If i were to get 40 preorders for this (craziness as i only have 14 definate) It would be int my best intrest no matter what the conditions to ensure my people are first in line.
