well, everyone is talkin about how its not the real Jay, how not being down with the streets is makin this a weak try.

personally I like the new sound, seems like hes tryin to change it up.
The track that Kanye laid is niceeeee, John Legend was a good fit. I think its like the black album was, u hear it one time and you are like ehhh its good, but then the more you hear it the more you love it, Do U wanna ride is already my new favorite...Id say give it some time and see if the CEO cant influence you into likin this new sound.

the man could be a genius if this works for him.

"Oh my God" is the only track I'm really feeling.

The rest splits between being just okay and garbage.

^^ damn, you serious?

listened to this album from to back when me and my boy were playin tiger woods, this album is pretty damn solid

"beach chair" is officially my shit

i don't like that "Oh My God" beat at all

also remove beyonce, usher, ne-yo, and sterling simms (who?) and this album would be a lot better

those five songs are skippable, as of now.

i'm not hating on R&B guest spots, but damn jay, let's not overdo it in the name of MTV

the rest of the album is fucking great, though. i still think lost ones (or beach chair) wins.

dig a hole is REALLLLY growin on me, and do U wanna Ride is still in my head

the whole CD really has potential the more I listen to it, the better it gets.

the song with Usher is bad though

the Snoop album was going well till I heard the Game and Akon

but yea, Do U wanna ride, Dig a Hole

30 something is still my favorite new track, followed by Beach Chair...the chris martin production suprised me.

lost ones is still the best track on the cd imo

overall, id stack it below black album in terms of overall goodness. but maybe it just needs to grow on me more

He talks about how he has evolved but the first couple songs sound like they could've been tracks from the Black Album. I do like it overall so far and I'm sure it will get better the more times I listen to it.

Not done with the album yet, but I have to agree, it's not his best work.

Some of it is ok.. but most is just kinda meh.

Yeah when I saw Chris Martin was producing a track I knew it would probably be interesting and probably my favorite track...

and I was right.

what?

he was sick on lupe's cd, sick on the biggie duets, etc.

deja vu was wack, but come on, your girl tells you to take out the trash or some shit, you'll do it even if you dont have the energy for it,

i bet thats what happened with deja vu

that dude can't sing and then jay sounds like he's covering a ludacris song with the rest of it
