I have 2 modded xboxes in my house. The one i'm doing is for a friend of mine. I'm just putting a 120 gig in it, but I'm tired of going to sites and the ones I want being out of stock, or whatever...

I don't but the person that I am modding if for does. I don't even know why he wants me to mod it... he has a 360 too. He just likes the way mine is set up???

i'm pretty sure that if you chip your box AND upgrade the hdd OR change the bios...you will be banned from Live.

If you get a chip that allows you to bypass the mod and load the MS dash, you flash the chip and leave the factory harddrive in... ftp all the factory files from that harddrive and then put the new harddrive loading those files back in the right place. Now instead of pushing power you have to maybe pushing eject to bypass and go to MS Dash, then you can play live.

I think that's right...? I know you have to play it off the disk though and not from what you have loaded to the harddrive.

I have a 1.6 xapter that I can sell you if you didn't get it from anyone else. I bought it mistakenly and now i can't find a use for it :/

I softmodded mine and couldn't be happier

supposedly you can load the original dash and still use live, but I ended my relationship with that stillbirth of a service months ago
