wel lots of these fans are kids that work at a grocery store after school for minimum wage or don't work at all. they possibly have been saving up for two or three months to get one. should they drop out and put about one or two months of full time work to afford the difference between the 600+tax they have saved up and the current 2000+ market price?

my 20gb is currently at 560 with about 5 1/2 hours to go with no reserve. i'm expecting it to end at around 1500-1600 although i just saw a 20gb end at 2000 even which seems to be the higher end for the 20s, the 60s look to still be going around 2400. my 60 end tommorrow at 7pm

i'm striking while the iron is hot, i KNOW that i'm going to be able to turn a huge profit right now. speculating that they'll still be in such high demand and that a crap load of people aren't waiting to flood the market a week before christmas just seemed too risky. right now i'm estimating that probably 15% of the total ps3 launch has been sold on ebay or is currently listed. i'm guessing that another 40% of the launch systems are waiting to be auctioned when they think the demand it going to shoot up even further which may end up lowering prices even more from their highs of around $4000 yesterday (what we saw for auctions that looked legitimate, good bidders)
