"Cheerleading is not sanctioned by the NCAA. NC State does not field a full varsity team: scholarships are not offered to participants."
But somebody gives out NCs for Cheerleading, so I guess it's still a championship either way.

The NCAA doesn't sanction cheerleading, but it still provides money for some schools. If the team goes to 10 competitions in a year, they can get funding from the NCAA for their stuff. Maryland does this with their All-girl team.

Our co-ed team, the goal is to support school athletics, and compete once at Nationals in April. We do have 4 national championships, and Mr. Wuf won last year's national mascot championship.
