it's a 2.2ghz p4-m, with 512mb ram (128mb shared video memory)...no wireless, no USB 2.0...i removed the cd burner, but i could put it back in
and, actually, no LCD...it was broken, so i completely removed it...everything on the computer works save for a screen...anyone have some suggestions or links for cool projects? aside from things that involve the absolute destruction of it, i mean 11/20/2006 7:01:05 PM |

if you grabbed a tv capture card it would make a pretty nice streaming server. 11/20/2006 7:06:03 PM |

2.2 isn't a bad processor speed (not great but not bad). Hook it up to an LCD and use as a small desktop , just with good cooling below it.
But that's boring.

They do have PCMCIA cards with USB 2.0 slots ... plug a USB Hub into that (not self-powered) and have fun. I'd personally use it in conjunction with my entertainment system to watch shows / build an emulation machine. 11/21/2006 11:01:49 AM |

PCMCIA combo card USB2/Firewire
Or you could make a pretty damn sweet cocktail arcade cabinet with it. 11/21/2006 12:02:25 PM |
