I need any suggestions on better recording with a 6 or 8 audio interface. Does anyone have any ideas about what kind to get?

Can you be a little more specific on what you're trying to accomplish, budget, etc.? Are you recording at your house on a computer, or are you recording onsite through a standalone board? Just about anything Digidesign will be nice, and their new MBox2 Pro has 6 channels of analog input via 1/4" jacks.
