ok, ive searched google, and cant find anything pertinant.
anything ive found on microsofts knowledge base only pretains to how to manipulate, but not change the defaults.
somehow ive inadvertantly changed something. when i open a file->open selection window, the files are ordered by last date modified as opposed to by name.
now i know that you can change this manually, but thats a temp fix for something that shouldnt be a problem.
i found somewhere that if you held control down when you reordered in the details view of an explorer instance and continued to hold control down when exiting the program, itll override the defualts for the rest of the programs that use these navigation windows. well, that didnt work either for attempting to fix this.
this is annoying as fuck.
anyone else seen this?

i assume you're in details view? i'm not even going to bother checking on my own computer, but i would assume you could just click the tab (header at the top of the column) of the one you want it ordered by and it should first do descending and then ascending
i don't know if this is what you're looking for
