I am working on a Christmas project for my mom, converting her cassettes into CD's ... I have everything, hardware and software, except a high quality tape deck with noise reduction features.... anybody out there got one lying around?

how much did you pay for it? that is often an indication of quality. i already managed to get my hands on one.. but just wondering.... and how much $ would you want for me to borrow it for a while

It would probably be easier and of better quality to just download the songs on slsk or torrents.

Unless, of course, it's super rare music or some shit like that.
