on a PC how do I find out how much memory I have. i checked the control panel and systems and saw the following:

Pentium (R) 4 CPU 3.06 GHz
1,048,084 KB RAM

i'm doing a software upgrade that requires 2GB of memory and I think I'm fucked. also its a Cisco server and getting memory isn't as easy as going to Best Buy. I could be fucked (no homo).

1,048,084 KB RAM = 1GB

what kind of upgrade are you doing that "requires" 2GB. Not even Windows Vista requires that much. Are you sure it doesn't say "2GB free hard drive space" or "2GB storage"

oh, it's a server. ok, maybe 2GB required, but still.....

yeah. its 2GB for a cisco ip telephony operating system platform.
