It can be old school or whatever....my friend lost hers and is stuck using her roomie's for everything...they don't have a house phone. Please if any has one they want to get rid of for free or really cheap, I just trying to do her a favor. It needs to be in decent condition and work. Thanks!!!

unfortunayely cell phones are not as simple as "number begins with" and unlocked.

an "unlocked" phone refers to one that will accept any sim card. This limits you to some sprint, cingular, suncom.

alltel, nextel, verizon, etc... do not take sim-

if you would like to actually get her a phone u need to find out who her provider is-

I talked to her today, turns out it's suncom she uses. I think she said it only takes nokia or sony ericson...something like that. If anyone knows different or has said item. Please contact!!! Thanks guys...sorry for the ignorance, lol.
