Has anyone has any experience with the cheap ones? Monster and belkinAV are ridicuously overpriced and I have heard that there's little difference between those and the cheap ones.

I have heard about monoprice.com, but it's so dirt cheap I cannot believe those things actually work. You have bought HDMI cables from them before?

u get what you pay for- the one for the PS3 so to speak(at BB) is only $60 and works well

well this one is only $7, so the difference is huge, I want to know if anyone has bought the cheap ones and since HDMI is digital, there should not be much difference between monster and this one, unless the build quality is so low that bit errors occur a lot.

I will say that I bought one on ebay (forget brand) initially for $12 new and the picture sucked on LCD- didn;t look much different than with a/v-

I'm not an HD guru but notice a huge difference with the more expensive

they have a lovely fight in there about this very topic. many of the guys in there have had positive experiences with cheap cables. it is really up to you.
