+a free trip to the beach
+some cash

we need an experienced sound guy this friday in emerald isle for a gig... we have to use our own PA... Mackie 1604 16 channel board, QSC amps, Yamaha speakers (2 subs, 2 mains, 4 monitors)... simple set up of rack preamps and effects... it's basic, but it's a killer system... any takers?

we're leaving Raleigh at 5:00pm sharp on Friday, arrive at the Emerald Club (really close to old Rooties location, but not that place) around 7:30pm, load in/set up/sound check... Grab food... Start at 10:00pm-ish or shortly after... we're the only band and it's a show that we'll be playing more than half covers but it's a gig... and the club is fun as hell... We'll either stay in EI for the night and come back to raleigh in the morning or drive back to Raleigh late Friday night (Saturday wee hours)... we drove back last time so that might be what we do again, but we've mentioned staying which is why I say worst (latest) case scenario, we'll be back in raleigh saturday no later than lunchtime...

^^Actually, Yancy's is not the same place it was in Market Square, It's now on Fayetteville street, A $6 million dollar restaurant, and possibly the nicest jazz/blues/R&B club til you get to DC. One of the more upscale (but casual) places in NC. It's nuts the money they put into this place. But it's nice as shit.
I run a $250,000 video/light show with a 32 channel Allen and Heath board and more shit in a wall than a space shuttle (all solo,by the way)..........and..............................
I've seen plenty of sound techs fuck up the sound in a small venue,
it's not hard
