yeah this guy sucks real badddddddddddd. I ended up with a B+, but i have no clue how because he did not teach one thing in that class, and his test were open ended, with half of the questions being from things we did not cover. Also his reviews before the test were completly different from his tests. Take Reiland

Worst teacher at NC State. Period. The only reason I passed the class was webassign help from this message board. Im shocked this ass hole is still teaching here. I would have a pretty good handle on how to do everything on his practice tests then the exams were out of left field. Half the shit he had never even started to cover. Absolutely do not take this guy.

^yeah that helped tremendously with those last few webassigns where everyone was clueless. I had a friend who took Reiland before that who had helped me most of the semester but by that point he was clueless as well.

Did you have him last year? It's cause he stretched the B range all the way down into the D's. Most of the class would have failed if he didn't do that. Test averages were like in the 60s.

haha. no, I am actually finishing up a semester in his class. Rumor going around my class is, since he was such a crappy professor he was fired...but since the professor we were registered to have backed out at the last minute, they were stuck into having to let him teach again...

you folks say he curves heavily?

^ Yeah, but don't count your grade on it. I'd still try to get as high as possible, b/c he seemed to make sure folks passed, but not many folks ended up w/ As and Bs if I recall correctly

yeah man, don't rely on his curve. And they can't fire him cause he's a grad student so he has to teach. but jesus he was horrible. I thanked my lucky stars that i made it out with a B.
