So is it also considered cheating to have copies of old tests? Because I'm pretty sure that half of the university is cheating if this is so, esp frats and sororities who keep files of old tests members have taken.

That other thread is asking about someone who has just taken the same specific exam. I'm asking for thoughts about past semesters. I don't really consider that cheating.

also i know its kinda late but do we have to know the entire chapter of lipid metabolism or just parts?

I would think a 40/72 was pretty good! I'm not really learning that whole chapter. Just the parts of fatty acid sythesis and Beta Oxidation, but alas its 1 in the morning and i am not even there yet

well wasnt horrible.. but test grades have been 18.35 was the low one.. then 23.8, 23.05, and 26.4 so not great but not bad.. i was hoping for a B in the class but im at a D without the final.. i just dont know how much im gonna be able to bring it up.. havnt studied all that much for this

so 5 hours left...I'm screwed! I can't seem to get motivated. I'm shooting for a B in the class and have a C- right now without the final, so thats not that bad.

yeah, i have a D+ w/o the final
so i need like 51% on the final to make a B- atleast.

from what i've heard the final is roughly 20 pages of short answer and fill-in-the-blank. the best study preparation would be to look over old exams and all the definitions from KK. other than that im going over B-oxidation and FA synthesis.

yeah the thing im wondering about the definitions from KK is will she just write the definition and we just write the word(that seems to easy) or will their be multiple blanks in one question where you have to fill in the word and parts of the definition?

yea....but on a good note, everyone seems to think they do horrible, and the grades for the class are still not so bad; and many people i have talked to thought they did really bad on the exam and still ended up with B's

i think im just worried because i dont know what to expect.. i dont know why they go and change the format of the final exam to something completely different from what we are used to with the rest of our tests.

because there would be no way to grade all those exams in such a short period of time....plus if there is only one answer (not essay) it is easier to say its right or wrong with out people being able to debate it.....but yea it still sucks

Came out with the same final grade as i went in w/

The test was like 25 pgs. of pure HELLLLLLL

don't cry. from what i saw from the spring semester, the curves like crazy due to the final.

i had an A all semester, and ended up putting down answers like "puppies and kittens" and "ninjas and pirates" for answers on the final. got an A+ at the end.

she gave us a whole letter grade curve on our final exams last semester. and from what i hear, this semesters average is pretty low. lower than lest semester.
