solstice>sky IMO just cause the lines are so much cleaner, it looks less plastic, more like one of the old 50's italian roadsters. burt yes sky looks more masculine.

actually I think the car looks better in photos. It's kind of disappointing once you see it in real life after you're used to looking at the promos. But it's still a great looking car, especially by GM standards.

And I much prefer the sky, it's more refined in styling and has a lot more available options, not to mention the "Red Line" edition now. I do agree though, for the throwback styling the Solstice is where it's at.

If my legs would fit in a Solstice I would definitely consider one. However, I'd replace the badges with Fiero ones. I grew up surrounded by them as I drove with my mom to buy Transformers and Garbage Pail Kids cards.

here we go agian. both Sky Red Line and Solstice GXP are mechanically identical from what i understand. both come with 260 hp turbo ecotecs. plastics and badges are the only difference as far as i can see

The Sky is really more roomy than I thought it would be. I am 6'4" and I fit inside pretty well. On the test drive, my head only came over the windsheild line by about 1/4". It is hard to get out of, though. The car is very solid and every stoplight I came to, people wouldn't shut up about it. The non-turbo engine is more than adquate (I ended up getting an ION coupe with the same 2.4L motor) I can't imagine having almost 100hp more in the turbo.

haha I got what you're saying. I know a lot of people think that many sports cars are girly in general...regardless of what kind of top it has. The fact is girls love to ride in things that look good. And this happens to be a nice looking sporty car...or an SUV. I read a study somewhere that girls drive SUVs more than guys do, or something to that effect. The only safe-bet non-girly vehicle is a big pickup. Ha, but I'll drive pretty much anything.
