a lot of the price difference is the smaller hard drive and lack of nice dvd player...

xbox sells a HD dvd drive aftermarket for ~200 and PS3 comes with a blu ray DVD player

I'd rather have an xbox

Do you really need a HD drive for this system to be worth it? I was thinking about buying a core... I would just use it to play games, nothing fancy.
