I have enough credit card points as well to get over $500 in gift cards to almost any store out there....retail, dept, restaurants, whatever...target, best buy, circuit city, home depot you name it. I will sell those gift cards for .95 on the dollar.

I will also sell gap gift cards for .85 on the dollar

why would you sell a $50 visa gift card, you realize you can use that like a regular debit card right? anywhere that takes visa? i mean, unless you just wanted $50 cash, I'll give you $45 cash for it. lol.

WEll, perhaps because you CANNOT cash them out when making a purchase or get cash back with them, thus unless you purchase exactly $50 worth of stuff, or use it to buy a $50 gift card for the place, then use the gift card to make the purchase and pay the balance with another card, it is nto that usefull. YES, its great if you want a throw away card to sue online, or to use as a reloadable for shopping if thats how you budget stuff, but i always prefer cash, as asking a store to charge x amount on one card thent he balance on another generaly pisses them off. ESP on items that are small. And the REI card i would prefer to get closer to face value for, else it will just be turned into another few pairs of smartwools.

I use the cards all the time, use up the balance then pay the rest w/ cash. No one ever seemed to get pissed off, but maybe they were just being patient.
